I made a mistake when I said the Creme Brulee was part of Webs’ store brand of yarn. In the comments, Johanna said she had been looking for some all over the place, then Lauren asked if Knit One Crochet Too was really Webs own yarn. So I looked it up and Knit One Crochet Too is not actually theirs. They do have their own line, but now I don’t know what it’s called. Sorry about any confusion!
Does anyone remember what Webs yarn is called?
Stay tuned for pictures of my haul from Rhinebeck. Also, I just got back from seeing the Yarn Harlot at the Willow Bookstore and it was such fun! I met a group of amazing and hilarious ladies and we all for drinky-drinks after Stephanie finished her authorly duties. More on that tomorrow, too.
Isn’t Stephanie incredible in person? Funny, down to earth, and just plain nice all around.
Webs’ store yarn is called Valley Yarns, and it’s mostly very good…from a (I swear) mostly unbiased store employee!

i should’ve gone.
Great to meet you last night — what a fun night! I didn’t go to Rhinebeck, so it was a mini-Rhinebeck in Massachusetts for me!
I was there too! Gosh darn it
Turns out they don’t have the color I need anyways, so back to searching forever… does anyone have Creme Brulee in color 557, a very nice green? Boo Hoo!
Johanna
Jofrog is Knitfrog
Envy, envy, but glad you had a good time.
Valley yarns, and I can say that my own experience has been good. But they use that label both for some of their mill end close outs, and for some specifically house branded yarn. Your mileage may vary.
We went out for Drink.
You guys are the best. Can we all live together in a fiber house?
I see someone already answered about Webs’ yarn. It is Valley Yarn. I’m actually knitting a sweater with Valley Yarn Sugarloaf right now. It’s great yarn — soft to touch, a nice sheen, machine washable.
glad someone got the right yarn name. our berkshire yarn was just reviewed by knitting review.
and i LOVE sugarloaf yarn. i has the most awesome stitch definition, esp. on cables.
again, another (somewhat biased) store employee (hi amy!)
