OK, which one of you found my blog using the keywords “women taking off pants”? C’mon, fess up. Don’t be such a bum. I won’t get my panties in a bunch, I swear.

No one?

Party pooper.

(Any and all puns about buns welcome at this point. Go ahead, make my day.)

Ha ha ha! I had someone visit my webpage after doing a search for “peeing sheep” – I kid you not.

  2. Nyxxie says:

Hey I have a question- Can you help me out so that I can see what people search for to get to my blog? I have blogger as well.
    Thanks in advance!

  3. Christie says:

I’m going to try that right now.

No one’s found my site by anything weird I think. Of course with a blog name like mine, I suppose only gardening, knitting, beading fanatics would end up there.

Did you take pictures? Was it at one of the blogger’s balls? Did you have fun?

They were hoping you take off the yarnpants, I suppose… how funny!

  7. Sometimes I purposely throw fun words into my posts just to see what comes up in the searches that hit my site (like calling myself a promiscuous knitter). I love the idea that someone desperate for porn can stumble across knitting blogs.

  8. Amy says:

Don’t you love finding these things? Someone got to my site using the phrase “housewives humping pillows” on Google.

  9. butt, butt, butt. and ass, too!

  10. Hilari says:

Hysterical. I got a hit from “secretarys [sic] showing their vulvas”. I can’t even imagine how disappointed they were…

I’ve been meaning to look. I haven’t checked out the whacky search keywords in a while. Today I found:
    fuzzy catapillers
    bleah warm remover
    knitting greyhounds
    snake babysitting
    bunny sith
    puddingwrestlingpictures

Yeah, that last one was all one word. I’m still not sure how that one brought my site up. I don’t wrestle in pudding. I might wrestle WITH pudding (getting it open quickly and eating it as fast as I can) but I certainly didn’t take pictures of it.

after reading the comments, I was rolling!!! can you imagine what kind of searches will come up now???

yeah, no idea where that came from. I need to start keeping track of these. They don’t come along often.

  14. Franklin says:

My most common Google search is “pantyhose parties.” I am afraid the people who come to me via that search must get very, very angry indeed.

With a cool name like stitchy mcyarnpants, what do you expect? 😉

  16. Katy says:

Why am I amused that your comments got spammed?

  17. AnneV says:

And there was me thinking it’s just me who is the target of all the weird searches on Google.

    Here’s the latest:
“knitting yarn that spells swimming when you knit it” Errr…what???

I also made a posting of the top 10 searches last June. Some of them were made in Finnish (my blog is in Finnish and in English), so those ones are translated. Or at least I tried my best to understand what people meant (hihi).

I’m picturing my pre-teen daughters in J-Lo with an equally sick feeling…I especially enjoy the models sticking their assets out as much as possible. As pre-teen girls, they have no assets, yet, so I appreciate the difficulty of this maneuver.

  20. Blue Gal says:

Yeah, blue gal depends heavily on panties searches, so much so that she mentions them when ever possible.
